WM_MOTIF supports MFC 4.2 applications !

Popular UNIX library now supports the most popular C++ Framework for Windows

Oct 10, 1997 [Millburn, NJ] -- Software UNO announced today that it will ship has begun made available today an add-on to its popular WM_MOTIF library that supports the Microsoft MFC 4.2 framework. This add-on implements the Win32 functionality used by MFC 4.2 and allows C++ developer to keep common source code between Windows NT, Windows 95, UNIX/Motif and UNIX/Text.

"The WM_MOTIF MFC4 add-on reinforces our commitment to be the most effective solution for MFC developers porting their software to UNIX platforms." said Jesus Alvarez, President of Software UNO.

The MFC4 add-on for WM_MOTIF requires a WM_MOTIF base library and has a price of $ 500. It is currently available as a beta release with full availability expected by November 17. Note that OLE and multithreading will not supported in this release. ODBC support is available via third parties.
